Disney’s Frozen*, a critically-acclaimed musical, is set to conclude its West End* run at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in September. Renowned for its captivating story and music by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, with a book by Jennifer Lee, the show has enchanted over 2.8 million audience members.
Since its debut, Frozen* has played a pivotal role in reviving the West End’s theatre scene, especially after its reopening in September 2021 post-pandemic and following Theatre Royal’s extensive £60 million restoration. The musical has garnered significant acclaim, including seven WhatsOnStage Awards and four Olivier Award nominations for categories like Best New Musical.

Director Michael Grandage expressed his gratitude for being a part of Frozen’s journey in London. He highlighted the show’s impact, especially in introducing theatre to new audiences post-pandemic, and fostering a lasting appreciation for the arts.
The musical stars Samantha Barks as Elsa, who will be returning to the role in February after her maternity leave. In the interim, Jenna-Lee James fills the role, alongside Laura Dawkes as Anna, Jammy Kasongo as Kristoff, Craig Gallivan as Olaf, Oliver Ormson as Hans, and Richard Frame as the Duke of Weselton.
